Apparently it's been awhile since we've updated our site!! Our four-gigs-in-four-days included a free outdoor show at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont (at left), a packed night at Dan's in Walnut Creek with the Minks, another packed night at the Red Devil Lounge in SF with Riot Act (below - performing a Zoo Station first "Rockin' In the Free World), and a great daytime gig at the Petaluma Garden Festival.

Now after a few weekends off, we're back this Sunday at the Fremont Festival of the Arts. This event is the largest free street-festival in California attracting nearly 400,000 annually, so don't get left out. Eat a corndog & listen to some U2! july-reddevil

Hey gang. First of all a big thanks for voting Zoo Station best rock band in San Francisco for 2010. To show our thanks, we come asking for more favors. Want, want, want...but this is for a cause bigger than us. This year Zoo Station has a team walking in AIDS Walk San Francisco. Since 1987, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised nearly $74 million for San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other HIV/AIDS organizations in the six Bay Area counties. Your support will help the Foundation prevent new HIV infections and promote health among those living with HIV. We're looking for folks to walk with us or donate to the cause. The walk starts at 10:30 a.m. in Mother's Meadow, Golden Gate Park on Sunday, July 18. You can help in at least a couple ways:

1. You can walk with us on July 18. To register to walk, go here. Under our team name click 'Join Our Team' and register with "Zoo Station". Pretty simple really (I managed it). There you can set up your own personal page. You can raise money there and see if your employer has a 'Matching Gifts' program.

2. You can also donate. Not only from the page above, but also by going to our gig at the Red Devil Lounge on July 10. We will be donating a portion of the evening's proceeds to the cause. DONATE HERE!

Thanks to our fans and the readers of the SF Weekly who have voted us "Best Local Rock Band" in the 2010 Best of SF Readers' Poll. We are grateful and frankly, a bit humbled. And of course, please continue to support live music in San Francisco in all of its forms.
